MACS — Mobile Access Control Services

The Bitwards platform as it is delivered in France, by Selepso, under their own MACS brand. Two services on one app: MobileID for identification in the systems a customer already runs, and MobileAccess for doors and lockers that have no wiring.

  • The two-way token protocol, encrypted end to end and working offline
  • Open to any system through API or CSV, and embeddable in another app through the SDK

The door we left open

Jyri Paasonen on why most schools cannot do the one thing every safety briefing asks of them — keep the doors shut and know who is inside. Published in Turvallisuus & Riskienhallinta 3/2026, with Tredu’s Mika Tennberg on what changed across 13 sites.

  • Why access control built for traditional workplaces fails in educational facilities
  • Who carries the legal responsibility for safety at a school, and who pays for it
